Does anyone know how to get rid of the annoying..."entering unverified area, use dotted line for guidence" warning. I go through the same areas several times a week and it's getting frustrating.

turn the nav off, or turn the volume off. Thats all i can think of.

 

You can't, I was hoping Honda/Acura would change this in the new system...WRONG. If you're going through the same area several times each week I'd suggest not using the navi until after you go through "that area". I agree, its a frustrating message. In my last car, I would just add my destination to the destination list and start the route after I passed the "unverified area" that I verified on a regular basis.

 

Thanks BW5556, how do you not use the navi. I don't know if it is possible to turn it off?? Even when my screen is on audio, I still get the message.

use the little button lower left corner of the ventilation controls, it will turn on the day brightness level of nav screen, press another time and you move to night brightness and a third one to close the navi.

I go ahead and set the destination but rather than starting the route, I add the destination to the destination list. If I would go through the same unverified area several times a month so I knew my way to and through the area. Once I am through the area, I would go to my destination list and start my route. I've only been through an unverified area once in this car so I can't test anything else out. If you disable voice feedback, Yeti's suggestion might work...
