They're a bit pricey, but I like the "no holes" approach and a stock fitment.
What I'm looking to know specifically is if it can be flipped over and used on the driver side console trim instead of the passenger. Need it within reach - not across the cabin.
Are they decent quality or junk?

With that and the iphone bracket, you're looking at $70 shipped - and it doesn't charge or anything...so seems a bit pricey...but if the looks and build quality are worth it AND if it can move to the drivers side....I might pull the trigger.

They make the best mount available for any car. I have had a proclip mount in my last 3 cars. '07 Chevy Avalanche, '09 TSX and '11 TL. They offer 2 mounts for the TL, center console and left dash. I had the console mount for mt TSX which was great but I decided to try the left dash mount for my TL and I like it just as much. I like the dash mount because it is up and out of the way and I hardwired it directly to my fusebox.
But to answer your question, yes, they are not cheap but they are very well made and worth the money.

Thanks guys. The other thing I was thinking about was building a bracket for one of the motorcycle iphone holders and making a removable fixed mount that uses the fairly useless "Not an ash tray" space with a tension type bracket.
My biggest curiosity here, islandlife, - Does it look like you could flip it over and clip it on the drivers side console trim piece?
I'm 6'2'' and "lay down in the drivers seat" according to my wife - would seem as long as it doesn't interfere with the ebrake button, that it should clear everything if it would fit there. Tired of laying it on the cupholder cover and having it slide off.
