Problem w/ incoming HFL calls

Anyone run into this issue before? I have a Treo (I know, time for a new phone - working on it). It pairs fine, outgoing calls are fine, but when an incoming call rings in, the audio mutes, the nav shows an incoming call, I hear a ring tone, but when I try to answer, there's no call. People tell me the call just goes to voice mail.

Any thoughts/ideas?

Thanks.

Sounds stupid, but could you possibly be hitting the wrong button? I haven't tried this myself, but it's possible if you press the hang up button instead of the pick up button that the phone treats it as ignore and sends the call to voicemail.

Yeah, I did that once when the car was new, but this is a more recent problem.

I think theres a firmware upgrade Acura can do - I had a wierd bluetooth issue where my phone would connect but on the Nav screen it showed as if there was no phon connected, so I couldn't dial out, but incoming calls would come in fine and I could answer them.

There is a TSB (atleast in Canada) for the issue and they did a bluetooth firmware upgrade that resolved it.

HF Volume can be raised with steering wheel volume ^ buttons.

Disregard, I need to read more carefully before I post...sorry

Your phone is not fully compatible. It pairs fine makes outgoing calls fine. Incoming it does not know how to act to it. One reason I say that is because I had my work phone doing the same thing with mine as well. Never bothered with it after that. I have programmed all of my friends and family members phones fine along with my personal phone.

i have an iphone 4 on 4.0.1.. i was listening to music off it yesterday via bluetooth audio and got an incoming call. i guess the guy hung up and ended the call.. but the ringing in the car kept going.. the only way to end it was the turn off the car.. i could also change to am/fm/xm etc and it would stop ringing.. but when i went back to bluetooth audio, it was sitll ringing.. weird.

I started this thread so I thought I'd report back. Just picked up an HTC EVO; it paired fine, imported phonebook successfully (after a couple of false starts) and handles incoming and outgoing calls just fine. All my HFL nits have been fixed.

BTW, the EVO is a stomp-butt phone if you don't mind the touch-screen typing. Super fast, especially when you're on 4G.
