Problem with Side mirrors moving

Hope the forum can help..

I recently bought a 2012 TL standard no navi with 12K miles, I thought I programmed the seat and mirrors via Tech manual, but every time I put the car into REV, the drivers side mirror moves DOWN! I have to hold the side mirror switch to prevent, any quick fixes?

Thx!

Don't be there is nothing wrong with the system.Put the mirror switch in the center position and all will be well. When the switch is moved to the L or R the respective mirror will tilt down when the car is placed in reverse.

Yup! It's actually a feature. One that becomes very useful when you have nice rims and need to parallel park and there's a curb.

Like KarKraze said, if you leave the switch in the middle, it disables that drop down feature on the side mirrors.

I relate to this so much. I would have bet money that at one time they both went down, then only one would. The Acura dealer told me if he had a dollar for every times someone said that, he'd be well off. I like to have the passenger mirror go down since that is the more blind area.
