Anyone installed or know about any aftermarket parts for power folding side mirrors.

 

Yes there has been a few people that have installed power folding mirrors. You have a few options:

1. Buy the Canadian (Dumbo) mirrors with switch and wiring and swap them.

2. Buy the Canadian mirrors and swap internals. You will still need the switch and wiring but maintain the USDM size mirrors.

3. One of my buddies knows a guy that can do the swap for you and includes everything you need. I believe the total $600 to do the mod not including shipping. You will be able to fold the mirrors with the switch but they don't automatically fold when you lock the car. That needs additional wiring.

 

Thanks for the response, so the canadian mirrors comes with folding functionality and can i fold them from a switch inside the car, all i need is fold and unfold them from inside while parking in the garage. Where to buy them from ?

 

no the Canadian ones are not power folding, i up here in the north and it was n option never offered, you need the cdm ones Chinese domestic market ones or the (international mirrors on ebay, but you must make sure it is a 13 wire connector not the 11 wire one

Yep, even the Canadian market 4G TL didn't have the power-folding-side-mirrors feature.
