So i’ve had my TL for about 4 months. Absolutely love it!
I did have a S9+ when i first got the car that i obviously religiously streamed music through the stereo... I had an option in my phone settings to disable the “phone” function making my car only use media audio.
Now i have changed to a iPhone 8+ which connects through bluetooth fine, but requires me to have the “phone” function enabled (no option to disable). I hate this mostly because i don’t care for the hands free link or having my phone calls synced through the car. The media works fine except for when i have a dramatic signal change while driving...(which is frequent due to shit sprint service) I then have annoying interference in the audio that is being streamed. It’s not constant this happens, but is highly unsatisfying! Is there a way i can disable the “phone” function?
