I am in the market for an Acura TL but just have a couple questions. 1) Will I have to purchase updates for the navigation? 2) Can I add the TV screens in the headrests for the backseat even if I have navigation? Thank you in advance for the help.

 

I just found that we do have to pay for the updates but I'm still unsure if I could add the headrest screens.

 

As far as the navigation map updates, they come out every year with an updated map set that you can buy. You certainly don't have to buy the new DVD every year. Your navi will continue to work with the older maps you have installed. Initially, the new DVD cost I think about $150 but after a few months or so, there are specials were you can get them for $99.
