I have it and hust updated it. As to if it is worth it? I think so. I had version 1.83 andthe new version is 2.60. It had several new areas in Lee's Summit, where it live, including my address. With these it is never really about worth it b/c $150 is a lot to spend on it. It really is about if you want it. I wanted it and got it....

Can you use the disk in another TL? Or is it one use per disk. I have a 09 TL and was looking into updating the maps, but I don't want to spend full retail on a disk and toss it away.

I don't think it worth $150 unless navi being used on daily basis, in worse case I use smartphone's GPS

I also don't think $150 is worth update it unless your home address is not showing but updated in the new version.

We are living in the smartphone world which has the most up to date POI with navi.

The Acura Navigation Center is now selling a 2-DVD update set in "Purple" color and the version is 2.7. They're saying it adds over 100,000 miles of new roads. The data provider is NavTeq. $150 seems like a lot of $$. That said, new discs for Mrs. ExGMan's BMW are $200.

Now that Google Maps is working on the iPhone with spoken directions which go right into the BlueTooth, I wonder if this market will start to dry up some.

If you wait a few more months, like until April, they'll probably discount the 2013 disc to $99 like they did last year. I bought my '12 disc this past April and took advantage of the discounted price. I wouldn't pay the $150. But that's just me.

Got look into it cause up here in Canada all nav disc are 199 if not more. Might take a trip down to the states a grab one.

Don't let them (the nav folks) tell you the US version is different from the Canadian version. Their standard line is that the Canadian disc comes with an "extra" disc to cover areas north of the first 50 or 100 miles from the border. However, the US and the Canadian discs are the exact same (at least insofar as the red discs for 2009-2011 TLs are concerned).

Thanks for the heads up. Funny you say cause I was surprised that my salesman told me to go to the states and get one. With that said I just saw the price for us Canadians is. 179.99 and in the states is 149.99
