Navigation ETA Issues...

Well I guess "Issues" is not the best word to describe my gripe. My Nav is having great difficultly projecting an accurate "Time of Travel" between locations. I drive the same exact route everyday to and from work and my Navi is consistently 30-40min off in the projected travel time.

Does anyone else have a gripe about this??

I also wish the Navi screen would display an ETA in addition to travel time.

Not sure I follow what you mean; when is it 30-40 minutes off? The time to destination updates based on your actual speed but it won't be "spot-on". Mine is usually 5-10 minutes off...but never 30.

My Nav is consistently off by 30-40min until I am like 5min from my destination.

Example:

I leave my home around 6am CST every M-F. I drive is approx. 50-55min is duration. When I leave my Nav est. that it will take me 1hr 30min. Even after I get going and up to speed it never truly corrects itself. Even when i am "in the home stretch" it is still like 15min off.

I too have the same issue with my 09. Did you figure out a fix for this issue?

Have you updated to the latest software and maps? My 09 used to be that way too, I have since bought the DVD and applied the update. I was hoping the software upgrade would have fixed that...I haven't checked it specifically since then, but I also haven't noticed the discrepancy either? since then either?

I have not updated to the newest version. I was thinking about ordering an update disk so maybe this is a good reason to go ahead and do it. Thanks for the advice.
