hey all quick question on my 2012 TL with navi. Is there a disc that is supposed to come with the car for the navi or is the navigation embedded in the hdd? Asking because I purchased this vehicle used and noticed no navi disc came with to. was wondering if the 4g tl comes with a disc stock. Worried about my battery dying and then the navi not working because I don't have the original boot disc.

 

The Navi map base is on the HDD. No map discs come with the car. You can purchase the DVDs with yearly updated map base. The DVDs then have to be copied to the HDD. If your battery dies the map base isn't affected.
