Yea I got the email, I might do it. I was looking for a TD bank last week and the navi had me going 3 miles out of the way and I drove past one that didn't show up on the Nav.

Until Google Maps (or better) is integrated into my Nav I will never use it. Do what you do best Acura, make great cars and leave navigation to the professionals.

I got an email today at work as well. Funny thing is, i bought a 2013 map update and have yet to install it :/

 

That carplay stuff they're talking about with Apple sounds awesome. Wish they could add that onto this...

 

After a hellish day at the office and at home, I had to try it and the nav listed out the closest hotels!

I also for kicks said "I want some p***y" and the nav voice responded by saying "Pardon?" Ha!!

 

If your city's road infrastructure has had a major overhaul during the last few years or you want the latest and greatest Zagat rated restaurants on the fly then it's probably worth it if you rely on GPS to get around. I only use the navigation function when I'm out of town. In town I use it to avoid congestion, which isn't worth the $100+ upgrade for me.

to the Green Disk which is:


IT005.04.01


Anyone know how old IT002.01.04 is?


Also on the upgrade order the product # is U3134-1113-310
and the description is: 2014 Green DVD Map Update v8.310.0


I can't find 8.310.0 anywhere else in the car.


Also anyone know anything about the software?


My software version is 1.40.0300


On a 2011 MDX. The NavTeq people who I ordered the update from said there is no software updates included with this map update... that I would have to contact my dealer for such a thing. The dealer doesn't know anything about the software version on the GPS...
