Jeez, I consider myself a pretty technical guy, but I feel dumb about this one. The other day, I was showing off the voice stuff in my '12 TL to someone (I hardly ever use except to show someone ). I said to "Display" something, can't even remember what I wanted. Anyway, it somehow interpreted as "Display ZAGAT restaurants". What I said wasn't even CLOSE to that, but oh well. Now, EVERY time I say "Hide ZAGAT Restaurants", it says, "Pardon?" I've tried every accent, annunciation of syllables, volume, you name it, and it ALWAYS says "Pardon?" I want to punch that lady when I hear "pardon?". Sorry deviating off topic here.

Anyway, I guess those little fork and knife icons will always be on my map, as long as I own my car, since I don't know how to say ZAGAT (maybe I should try Latin). Most commands can be done with buttons/wheel, but I can't seem to find the hide/display icon commands. It's probably something obvious I'm missing.

I'm hoping Acura releases an update to the voice recognition, because it's really squirrely in the 2012. There are other threads about voice tags and how they don't work at all.

You can disable those forks in the GPS-menu. Make sure to use the GPS-Manual

Found it in the menu finally. Yeah, the GPS manual probably helps a lot. I still can't believe how many instruction manuals this car comes with. The manuals take up the entire glovebox, so I moved them to the door pocket.
