Latest Nav System/Device Info version numbers?
Anyone have a version newer than mine!?
The acuranavi.com site says the latest version is 2012 Red DVD Map Update v2.20.7.A0. I wonder if the "2.20.7.A0" is the software version or a different number altogether, like maybe just the DVD version number?

I just bought the new 2012 Red Navi disk and updated. My numbers are:
Database: 7.A0
Software: 2.20
Makes me wonder about the database being a lower number than ya'lls.
Prior to the update I had:
Database: 7.70
Software: 1.80
Database: 7.A0
Software: 2.20

Database: 7.70
Software: 1.80

About your database version, maybe it's because you have a 2009? The 2012 Navi system does have some newer functionality, so maybe your database will always be 7.xx where the 2012's will be 10.xx? Just an assumption, of course...
If anyone else has a 2012, please continue to post your database and software versions, the more data, the more we'll know. Thanks!
More info: the 2012 Red DVD Update is v2.20.7.A0. So, just like emanon256 posted, that's Software Version 2.20 and Map Database Version 7.A0.
On the Acura Navi site, when you select 2012 Acura TL, it says "no update available." In fact, if you look at compatibility for the disc, it doesn't even list 2012. So I'm thinking there isn't a map update for on the Red DVD compared to what got installed at the factory on 2012 models. It's strange they won't let 2012 owners buy the 2012 DVD to get the Software Update (2.20) and even stranger the database version numbers for 2009-2011 is different than 2012 models.
It would be nice if they could at least let us the software update without the map database (like the Gracenote database), but I'm guessing they want to sell DVD's. :-/

I am just curious as to why my mother's 2011 Honda Oddessey has better graphics and functionality than my 2012 TL's navi. I had no idea how antiquated the Navi system looked until I rode in my mother's new (but still a model year behind) Honda. What gives?
Did you notice any changes to the cell phone system (such as the settings options or the display when a call comes in)? I'm curious as to whether the map/software update affects the phone part of the system at all.
Thanks!
Marc
No changes at all after the update other than the map and POIs. Menus, Phone, Everything else is exactly the same. Sadly, the Zagat guide is still not there either. Thought I still have a menu item explaining how to read it.

Thanks for the reply! For my area, the maps in my 2010 are still fine. I have a 2012 as a loaner, and I really like the updates to the phone and music system...I posted the question because was wondering whether the map DVD would update those...so you've saved me $149 (for now anyway)!

Actually that not true. The 2012 TL Screen is much sharper than previously and sharper than a 2011 Honda Oddessey which I just traded for my TL.
They should make this free IMO. You're paying 40K for a car, I mean come on.
Even Garmin and the other navi systems you can purchase for $100 give the free lifetime updates.
Acura is really gouging us here. I think many of you guys would agree?
