My remote battery drains fast. Is there any recommendation on what 2032 lithium 3v battery i should replace it with? I currently have a Panasonic.. I was thinking of Duracell security battery but I cannot find any for 2032 battery size. Need your feedback

1. Try not to use the remote, lock/unlock the doors at the handle.
2. Sometimes those batteries sit on the shelf for a long time. Be sure to buy from a retailer that has a fast product turn-over, such as Home/Office Depot.

 

How fast does the battery drain ?

I bought my 4G TL two years ago, and I have been using the Driver-1 remote fob to lock/unlock doors and the key slot to start/stop the car, since day 1.

To date, my remote fob is still on the original battery.

 

FYI You can change them cheaply (6 bucks) at a Honda dealership.

 

^^^ Exactly!! My first battery lasted 3 years. Even though I'm anti-stealership, I do recommend stopping by for the remote battery. It won't break the bank!

 

Bought a 10 pack of these for my other car and works fine. Last pack I every need I think lol. Put it in a year ago and still kicking strong on a manual button remote. Original in the TL remote is still going after 3 years of ownership.
