iPod FREEZE

Took the IPod out of my '09/TL/tech, to transfer my music to ITunes, through Copy Transfer Control. It was the 1st removal since March '09. Anyway, upon re-inserting the IPod, it wouldn't play, or show any songs on the Nav. screen. Used the Apple solution fix, to "restore" the IPod, & voila!, it's as good as new. Press the Menu, & the center control button simultaneously. First, you need to "toggle", the on/off switch, at the top/TWICE. Place the IPod on a FLAT surface; hold the 2 buttons down for about 10-15 seconds. Screen will go black, & the Apple logo will appear. 5 seconds later, you're good to go.
BTW: the Copy Transfer Control application works great. You can even transfer ITunes from P.C. to Mac. Well worth the $20 investment. It's good for a year, & you can use it on numerous computers; all for ONE charge.

Thanks for this! I was having the same problem but didn't know if it was the car or the ipod. I didn't know that ipods had this problem...but when I was doing the reset I thought the instructions were to hold the menu and center button on the TL...oops.

Wouldn't it be easier to just copy all your music to an external hard drive then drag and drop it back into iTunes?
