iPhone& 4.1 OS any trouble w/ TL?
I am running 4.0 of the iPhone OS on my 3GS - just wondering if anyone has done the recent update to 4.1 with their iPhone - and if they noticed and problems or improvements - so far as working with their TL - such as calls thru the blue tooth, playing audio thru the bluetooth thru the car from the phone (ie pandora) , or using your phone as an iPod plugged into the usb connector on the car?
i had one issue where it wouldnt pair up after I updated my phone but after restarting my phone it pairs up with no issues at all...
I dont really play music through my phone as i have an older ipod for music tucked away...

+1...I've had better luck since I updated my software. My iPhone 4 pairs quicker with my Type S now.
Same problem exists for me after Apple's 4.1 update, with the bluetooth on the iPhone, it constantly switches the iPhone audio from "dock connect" to HFL. Since the update, I've had longer periods of stability, but it still randomly switches. I did notice via bluetooth audio, that the volume now attenuates in the TL when moved on the iPhone, cool, but not important as a stable connection, which I'm not getting.
Just to report, that this is a new replaced 3GS from the Apple store 2 weeks ago, as we thought the bluetooth module might have been bad, but it's only in the TL where I have issues. So sad to be in the middle of brilliant tech advances. Acura obviously doesn't care, "we can't keep up with Apple", and Apple feels their the leaders so everyone has to follow them. Curse, curse, curse.

I downloaded 4.1 teh day after it was released and barely connected to my phone to the TL today. The iPod worked flawlessly and teh only issue I have had was bluetooth not connecting which was resolved by resetting the phone and it hasnt happened again.
Ive noticed that my phone will play music just fine, and then randomly the sound stops. It still says it's playing, and the phone still says its docked. I can still pick songs, and it says they play, there is just no sound. When I disconnects and re-connect my phone it picks up with sound like nothing was ever wrong. Any ideas?
I'm running iOS 5 (beta5) and everything is working great, just in case anyone was pondering upgrading early. the first release caused some issues with answering calls and bluetooth audio, but it looks like (almost) all the kinks are out. (:
