iOS10 issues

Anyone update to iOS10 and have issues with the USB port or bluetooth? Debating on updating, but don't want to lose functionalities!

All in all, I tend never to update to first gen software, early adopting never a good idea for these types of things.. too many bugs to work out. wait for 10.0.1 or 10.1

I did some quick test in my '12 Tech edition with iOS 10.0.1 and have no problems so far. Again this was limited testing - I preloaded a song in pause mode, plugged it in and it played fine. Then I used the Search Music menu to select a playlist and it played fine as well.

Not totally related but w/ my Note 7 bluetooth audio info no longer shows on my nav screen. Just says device connected, but no track info at all. Plays all the songs, can pause/skip/rewind etc but no song info. Sucks but it still works. I wonder if we can buy an updated HFL/BT module for the car w/ updated internals to support BT 4.0 and higher standards. It's fairly easy to reach the module.

I just picked up my iPhone 7 Plus - having a lot of connection issues. Took about 7-8 tries to pair the bluetooth. It drops connection a lot either between switching apps/songs or just randomly. Pretty unhappy right now - hoping some updates to iOS will fix this issue.

Anyone else having a similar problem?

I have a '10 TL SH-AWD with Nav with a iPhone 6S and from time to time my Bluetooth drops connection a lot too and then it will automatically stop for a while. It's quite annoying. Seems it's been happening more with iOS 10. Same goes with HandsFree calling, car will ring but won't allow me to talk through car speakers I have to manually answer on my phone.

Update the Gracenote

I was having the same problem with my iPhone 7. It first I thought it was the module that controls the bluetooth because the phone was newer. If you go to the Acura grace notes site and update the firmware it will allow you to connect to bluetooth and play music music from your phone. Also every six months grace notes updates and it would be best to do that so that way if you buy new phone as I do every year you wouldn't have to worry about any of those connectivity problems.

I don't think the Gracenote database update has anything to do with iPhone Bluetooth connectivity issues. Gracenote database is used purely for tag info of imported CDs (an almost useless feature nowadays).

It worked for me I couldn't go five minutes without it dropping my music when it was playing. When I updated it I drove around for like two hours any did not drop any of my music it didn't stop anything. It may be a coincidence, but if this is the fix instead of paying for pricey module it work.

Thanks! I'm performing it now, hopefully it works as I just upgraded to a iPhone 7 Plus as well. I'll let you know what happens.

Update: I'm now using an iPhone 7 Plus running iOS 10.2 without problems streaming music via USB or using bluetooth handsfreelink.

Same here. No drops or anything. However, does song info display on your radio?

Yes it does, for USB, but it doesn't for bluetooth audio streaming - it never has.
