IOS 10 does not work properly
I updated my iPhone 6 to IOS 10.0.1 yesterday. All seemed to work correctly as a standalone phone. When plugged into my TLX (with the tech package), I could not play Pandora radio stations. I also found that Apple Music would not play music with the TLX controls. I also received the message "import error". I would recommend not upgrading to IOS 10 at this time.
I have been using Apple Music for months on my 2015 TLX. I played Apple Music as late as yesterday with the TLX controls. This problem started when I upgraded the phone to IOS 10. (You may be referring the 'Apple CarPlay' which is only available on more recent Honda models).
Further information,
I restored my phone from a backup made immediately before the upgrade to IOS 10. The phone seemed to work much better when plugged into the TLX. There were some error messages, but eventually Pandora and Apple Music started working normally. Perhaps the restore put some values back to correct values that allow correct operation with the TLX. A 'restore' doesn't change the IOS version but puts all data back to the values when the phone was running IOS 9 so the problem may not be with IOS 10. From time to time, the phone would not work properly plugged into the TLX, but a reboot would fix it...in the course of a restore, a reboot is done...so this may have fixed it.

IOS10 a mess
I updated my Iphone 6s plus to IOS 10 and the following issues:
And while I am on the subject - that incredibly annoying "device has exceeded 20,000 track limit..." message is still there. You would think by now Acura would just kill that knowing anyone with a large iphone or Apple Music is going to be showing a ton of tracks.
I really hate the ordeal of the update process.
- Phone gives error message "Unable to import call history"
- Switch source to Aha and the interface loads and shows interaction but no sound.
- Switch source to Pandora and the Pandora app starts up on phone and asks to allow car to access. Then nothing on the phone. Car interface shows "Loading" for a minute and then error message saying to check Pandora app when car is stopped.

Ecstatic to say, as of TODAY my TMo IPhone 64GB SE, is working PERFECTLY, in my 2015 TLX/SH-AWD/Tech/ELS
ITunes, text messaging, all BT Audio functions that I utilize, like Amazon, etc. all good
Siri is even more responsive!
Hope it stays this way; kudo's to TMo & Apple, for the quick Carrier fix
Lots of cool new stuff in IOS 10

No issues at all. None of the issues report above.
