Hi fellow Acura owners,

My Navigation went out and I need to replace the navigation unit- part #39540-SEP-406.

Does anyone know where I can find this? I believe I need the disc as well, as mine was damaged when the drive failed.

Anyone have any experience sending into Alpine to get fixed?

will, you can either call Alpine and send it in with the $365 and have them refurbish it....

or if you google the part #: 39540-SEP-406......the results are tons of website offering to sell the navigation drive.

 

you can take it even a step further, I'm sure. The 3G TL navi drive is known for failing (sounds like you're having the same issue I had last year). I opened the sucker up, confirmed the part number of the disc spinner and laser gizmo inside (it's stamped somehwere right on the internal doohickey) and ordered it from alibaba.com. I ended up paying $150ish to fix my nav.
