How to put your wallpaper on your Navi Screen TL 2012

I find it funny that one can go through all the steps to choose and set a wallpaper (arguably diverting one's eyes from the road while doing so), but the system, for "safety" reasons", won't let you hit the final ""enter" button while the car is in motion. Seems to me that if safety is really the issue, it should stop the driver at the beginning of the process, not the end.

Hi, new member here. I can't seem to find any information on what size the photo needs to be. The link says up to 6MB but what about the resolution? Do I have to shrink it on my PC before uploading it to the car or does the system automatically shrink it to size to fit the nav screen? Thanks.

I would size it down on your PC to the screen resolution, which is 800x480 (as per the manual) before uploading to the car, as the larger images take a lot longer to load.

It will automatically display the correct size, though depending on the photo, you may get black bars at either side.
