Has anyone optioned the OEM backup sensor system?

Although the tech pack comes with a pretty good backup camera system, I am used to additional audio warning and would love to have the system installed. Only thing was that dealer's price is just ridiculous for the system plus the installation. I recently found a place where I can buy them for pretty cheap, $200 OEM kit w/ painted colour-matched sensors. (I am awaiting for the seller's conformation about if the kit includes everything needed) Now, I am wondering how much a dealer will charge to install that. (dealer has agreed to install the remote starter kit for 1.5 hr labour which is about $200 after tax). I would ask if they can also do the parking sensor system with 1 extra hour of labour cost which I will discuss with their service manager. Quite obviously, I don't have the tool nor the skill to drill 4 perfect holes to fit in the sensors. Anybody has some suggestions?

when you buy the back up sensor kit, it suppose to come with a drill hole bit the size of the back up sensors for perfect holes.

but seems you are not mechanically inclined.. i say fork out the money to do it..

honestly tho.. you paid for the tech package.. one of the key features is the rear view camera... use it, or learn how to use it..

i trust back up camera more than any sensor.

Thanks for the reply. No, I don't have the confidence to drill holes on my bumper so, if I decide to do it, it will be a job done by professionals.

The backup camera with guidelines is actually pretty useful. I guess I am just so used to the audio warning along with camera like the system on my 11' RX350 ultra premium. It was such a great system.
