Gracenote and new CD
I have a 2012 TL Tech which I got in January 2012. I have not updated Gracenote. Today, I put in the new Suede cd, Bloodsports, which came out on Tuesday, March 19, 2013. The HD was able to determine the name of each song and the artist. Only the album name was absent. Is there data on new cds that allow the hard drive to capture the album information without a current version of Gracenote?

It's possible. There is a standard called "CD Text" that would provide that information. It never really got to be one of those things that happened on *every* CD, but there are some out there that have it.

That must be the case. The new David Bowie disc, The Next Day, also downloads all the album and song information.
