Angry Got Subs? A little help needed...

So I have basically been trying all freakin morning to try and get my subs to work, but to no avail. I am using a Scosche Line Out adapter to an Arc Audio 2500-XXK and I am not getting a damn thing from the amp, and I think the stupid line-out is at fault. Starting with the obvious, am I tapping the correct wires for the LO?

I'm looking at adding subs to my SHAWD but was just planning on getting my audio source from the speaker wires going to the OEM sub using a line level converter to feed my mono sub amp. This way I know I'm using the correct input and the signal has already gone through whatever stock crossover is in place with the OEM system.

How did you do it??? Just curious.

Just tapped the wire directly from the HU...in my case, an LOC was not necessary, but I used one anyway. I highly doubt the OE system has a sub-level crossover, even if it does, your amp should have a HP/LP switch with a freq. knob; you can use either method, but I prefer this as I'd much rather have to concern myself with tuning at my sub amp, and sub amp only.

My TL has the ELS system with sub in the rear deck. It also has tweeters in the a pillars etc. I'm guessing it has to have some type of crossover between the OEM amp and the speakers.

Yeah, there will be crossovers for the components, but not the sub.
