Annoying Audio issues...

this is an intermittent problem, at first i thought it happened when the car was in the cold too long (i park indoor). Then i thought it must be the quality of the mp3, then i noticed it happens in xm radio, mp3. Then i noticed it happening after being indoors, it always happens when the car just gets turned on and for maybe 10 minutes maximum. After that audio is normal.

Now the problem, basically it sounds like there is interference or static in the audio, like when you don't have your speakers connected properly and the quality of the sound is terrible until it goes away back to normal.

I still think it might be weather/temperature related, as i bought the car in June, and noticed this only in the colder temps, and imo it has gotten worse, it's as though there is a loose connection somewhere. and maybe it's my ears, but i believe it's only happening in the front speakers.

i love this car, it's a great daily, can't wait for some more parts to come so i can spoil myself this summer!!!!

Is it only coming from one speaker or is it coming from all the speakers? Just wondering if it's a speaker or a head unit/amp issue?

i can't tell, the sounds seems like it's coming from behind the nav screen speaker, so the center one, but i believe all the fronts are doing it.

is it possible it's a loose connection, and with heat the connection gets better due to expansion of metal?

i'm going to dealer tomorrow, but if i can't replicate problem, they won't do jack squat!

Sounds like mine did with a blown speaker. It was dramatically worse when cold (and for about 10 minutes) and very difficult to hear the problem after that. There's a bad batch of speakers put ionto these cars -- they will gladly replace it is this is the problem... Usually not the center speaker, though -- more common is the left or right front mid-range speakers (in the kick-panel).

played with settings and realized it's the middle speaker in the front, the left and right are fine, but middle makes the weird noise
