Decided to move forward and get the project done. one 12 in a glassed box. Got the first layer in...

Thanks! We are molding a fiberglass subwoofer enclosure to the shape of the trunk. Allows the maximum use of airspace that you cant easily get with an all wood box. This is just the first layers. Should be completely done by next week, if all goes well.

Cool! thanks for the explanation.

best of luck with the rest of the construction, keep us posted i'm beginning to get curious about swapping out some audio equipment, will have to spend some time researching

Box is roughed in and fits like a glove. Will strengthen up some areas inside, sand the outside and cover tonight.
