Nice video! I'm already booked for installing the same remote and dronemobile. However, I will go only for the starter.
One question, did they offer you to hook up the heated seat or the defroster options with the remote/app (not sure if that even possible).

Excellent video! Have you had any issues while driving? I've read that some people with the Viper SmartStart are getting an error on their dash after 15 mins saying the engine will auto shut off, and the only way to avoid this is to shut down the car with the remote (rather then touching the door handle and have it auto shut down), before driving off.

I installed it myself. I did hook up the defroster, but didn't do the seats because it is a button that can be left on, but it can be done if you want to.

Thanks. I paid cost because of dealer prices. It is 100x better than the viper IMO.

No issues with driving. The reason being is I tied into the factory system so when I touch the door handle to unlock the car while it is remote started, it disarms the factory and compustar alarm. No errors upon manual start up after that.

I've had it since Friday and the bars haven't moved yet. The remote is rechargeable and comes with a mini usb wall charger.

Hi Brandon, is there a Iphone application for your alarm? a friend of my mine wants to install it on his Lexus ES350.

Brandon, which interface did you use to install the alarm/starter. Reason for asking is that I just got mine installed and I am very disappointed. I can not open the trunk, when I press the trunk button the doors open but not trunk. When I open the doors via keyless entry the alarm goes off. When I use the started and I disarm and open doors the car shuts off. Not super ideal but I could live with it, however when I put in gear the car shuts down again. I have to re-start it twice for normal operation. And the best part when I use the emergency brake the car just shuts off, almost caused and accident. Every single time I use the brake the car shuts off very scary.
The install show is giving me the run around but that worries me very much because it went from convenience to safety.

Any pointers that you can give me/us here on the forum or via private message? Please.

I just got mines installed and have none of the issues you have stated. Plus the installer that did it for me did not integrate it to the factory alarm system. The engine shutsoff when you unlock the doors because I assume you have the smart key like Brandon's and mines it is common on all cars with the smart key.

I know this is an old thread but I just got compustar installed with drone and when I remote start using the app when I get in the car is says keyless system missing and give me a Maintenance alert. Anyone know why?

Thanks for the feedback. It turned out to be installer issue. I took the car to a different shop and the guy at that shop could not belive how the prevoius I installer installed the system. The new installer did a full tear out, walked me through what he did and the full reinstall. All works very well now, no takeover but I can open trunk, use handbrake, etc. Overall love it through our cold winter.

When you unlock your car you need to wait until the car is stopped before opening the door.
