How long are you giving it before picking up the call? I noticed yesterday that a call came in and I glanced over and it just had the number showing and I think it said something like "Searching..." and then a couple seconds later it finally displayed the name. That was probably two or three rings time to display the caller name.

I'm sure the car's logic is doing a simple compare of the incoming phone number to what's in the phonebook. So on your part, the incoming number should match the number for the relevant contact. You probably don't need the leading country code (I don't have it on any of my numbers and it seems to work fine for everything in my phone book).

I have the same Bold 9700. Just enter +1 followed by 10 digits (no dashes, spaces or ()) in your phone number fields and re-import the phone book. It works for me.

yes i have teh tech package also. i notices callers listed with the +1 prefic with no dashes works great. if you don't have the prefix in front of the numbers, =the caller's name will not appear. thank you all for your help. caps59
