Bluetooth Hands Free outbound calls

When I first linked my bluetooth phone to the hands free system, i was able to make/receive calls and the audio would route through the car's speakers/mic. Now for some reason, outbound calls originated from the hands free system or the phone play through the phone instead of the car. According to the manual, I thought I could hit the talk button and say "transfer" to transfer the call to the car's audio, but while the call is active, the talk button on the steering wheel is not usable. I press it and it does nothing. I confirmed auto-transfer is enabled in the hands free link menu. I tried deleting the phone from the cars system and readding it to no avail. Does anyone else have this problem or know how I can fix it?

I found the problem after realizing the same thing was happening with my bluetooth headset. Rebooting the cell phone took care of it. Now it works great.
