I recently upgraded BB 9700 OS to 5.0.0.743 and had issue with the Bluetooth Audio. Car and phone would connect successfully the first time only. Any subsequent connection would keep looping - as if trying to find the AV Remote services.

I did a downgrade to 5.0.0.351. Now it is working again.

Hopefully this save someone the trouble of troubleshooting.

If anyone successfully upgraded their OS and got the bluetooth audio working, I'd like to hear about it

Had same issue - thought it was just me or my car having issues, but didn't try changing the OS yet, I will do so now, thanks for that info!!

 

upgraded my 9700/TMo, about a month ago. Used to be 5.0.0.530.
It was a similar situation for both; seems like it's an intermittant BT audio problem. It's not the 9700, because my nephew has a Mazda 3, with a 'Droid Invincible? anyway, he has the same problem. BT audio is just finnicky. No biggie; only annoying thing, is if you manually, turn the BT audio on, you CANNOT control it from the steering wheel; only the BlackBerry
