Audiophiles: What are your ELS settings?

Each individual may have their own preferences but I'm curious to see what settings people use on bass, treble, fade etc to obtain optimal sound. The Tech model appear to have 13 settings for each 1 being lowest, 7 middle and 13 highest. Where do you set your ELS system to get the best sound for you, the driver?

Bass:
Treble:
Fade:
Balance:
Center:
Subwoofer:

For me it depends on the song.

I probably wouldn't consider myself an audiophile, but I just leave mine 'flat'...ie: 7 (middle) for everything.

I leave everything at the default setting, but if you like the digital Dolby surround then you'll probably want to crank up the bass a couple of notches that's all.

balance: a little bit bias on the driver side
center: a little bit bias on the front.... that's it.... everything else in default.....

won't bother to change anything else 99.99% of the time......unless I am stuck in the traffic....lol

The default settings seem to work the best for me for "everyday listening". However, there are some songs I crank the sub and the bass a little. I guess that is why them make them adjustable, everyone has different taste and listens to different kinds of music

I used to constantly adjust to the source I was listening to at the time, but now I just leave it at default with DPL II off. I agree to the above, if you do turn on the Dolby simulation, u can bump up the bass to +2. Again depending on your source.

While were talking about the sound system, my front left driver is blown, I just heard rattles in the low department yesterday, ugh. Now I gotta find the thread to the speaker replacement and dimensions.

I have about 30 DVD/A's in my TL. I usually leave the settings at default, & it sounds awesome! The dynamic range is far superior to Apple lossless/Nano,HDD, or Bluetooth audio, through my Bold 9700. BTW: the Bold will NOT accept Apple lossless recordings; only AAC's; I wonder why. Anyway, I've pretty much decided to either listen to DVD audio, or Bluetooth audio. I guess it's the wireless connection of Bluetooth, that makes me think, it's superior to Ipod, CD, or HDD. Just my opinion. Now if only the ELS played Hybrid SACD's in 5.1 surround..........................

DVD-A rocks for sure. But where did you find all those titles? I haven't found that much I like on DVD-A yet.

I just bought an '07 RDX Tech with blown speakers from a non-dealer. I took it to the local dealer and they replaced the speakers completely free of charge, under the warranty.

Base down, treble high. I find the stock system in any Acura I've had is too bass heavy.

BASS and SUB to MAX. Everything else is default. I have about 10 DVD-A discs that I listened to on the 3G but that had a 6 Disc changer. Just having a single on the new one sucks for DVD-A.
