Do any of you guys have an issue where your music sometimes skips on the 4g TL tech?

I hook up my iphone to my acura via USB. iphone uses solid state memory, so there aren't any moving parts. Anyways, songs in the car miss a beat but keep on playing, otherwise connection seems fine. Hard to replicate this issue but hoping someone out there has experience this or has a solution.

Ideas greatly appreciated!

 

I also have the same issue. It happens for me after driving for about 1-1 1/2. Weirdest thing. I resolve the issue by turning the radio off for 5 minutes.

 

same thing for me , i thought it was a bug on my ipod

 

I didn't get a chance to test this out, but one of the service techs at my dealership mentioned that it may skip due to a bad connection on the USB port. He said if the audio skips when you shake the USB port connected with the iPod USB cord, then it's an issue with the cord.

Unfortunately, a part of me thinks that this is more of a software issue. But who knows, worth a shot?

 

Ive had no issue with iphone 4 ios6.

 

Wish I could say the same. I've had issues with iPhone 4 iOS 4, iPhone 4S iOS 5, iPhone 4S iOS 6, and iPhone 5 iOS 6. At least the new lightning USB cable works...

 

Could simply be a symptom of your phone being overtaxed. If it's got other apps running in the background, or it's radio is searching for a signal or "pushing" data, then the music player may skip. No different than when your computer at home skips music because you've got too many windows open.
