Audio - Folder Sort Order

I currently use a USB stick for my primary audio. I have an iPhone but really don't want to deal with iTunes and Apple for audio.

I have noticed that in the folder view not only doesn't it sort by alphabetical order but it seems to sort folders according to date added with the most recent folder additions on the bottom. Pretty suboptimal and downright illogical PITA.

Anyone have a way to change the sort structure or work around? Otherwise I
okay with this setup.

Thanks in advance.

Any thoughts? If this is unchangeable just let me know. Seems a really stupid way to do things though.

I have found this annoying as well. We listen pretty much exclusively to podcasts using a USB thumb drive. No matter what I did, I could not get it to sort properly until I noticed that if I copied one by one, the order I copied in stuck. Which is pretty weird since the podcasts are sorted generally hour 1, hour 2, hour 3. I don't know how much music you want to put on the USB, but try doing it one by one and see if the sort stays. NOTE: I see I have to update my photo - we now have a 2009 TL!
