Audio console does nothing
Audio console does nothing
Just bought a 2012 TL this week. After replacing the battery and inputting the code to make to audio work again, I've slowly lost functionality. Initially I connected bluetooth to my phone, but it was taking over a minute to pair after the car was turned on. Then, when I connected via aux cable, I lost the ability to do bluetooth and all other functions except volume. When I tried turning the audio off and back on, it now simply remains off with none of the bottoms doing anything at all. I'm not sure if the audio console is damaged internally or what's going on with it.
Perhaps my post was somewhat premature. Once I told my phone to "forget" its connection, the audio now works again. I didn't anticipate a lingering connection to lock me out entirely, but I guess I can live with that. Although now it's flickering the audio options when I try to switch between aux, fm, xm, CD, etc - so I guess my problem isn't as unique as I thought, there are some threads talking about that. I can get aux to work again, so I guess that'll be good enough for now. Seems an issue with the radio itself.
