I was already loving my new 2011 TL. But then today I was pleasantly surprised to discover that I can stream music from my HTC Thunderbolt despite having the Standard Audio System.

 

you still have bluetooth and a usb connection dont you....

 

I had presumed (wrongly) that Bluetooth Audio was only available with the Tech Package, because it is not listed as a feature under Standard Audio System on Acura's website.

Just recently upgraded to a smartphone (S4) and have yet to try the Bluetooth audio. I typically use the stick but now would like to stream a couple podcasts using the "Sticther" app I've discovered. I'm expecting the bluetooth audio to stream whatever is playing but I'll see how it goes and post back my experience.

 

Works flawlessly! Selected Aux a couple time and went to bluetooth then started "stitcher" and went on to listen to Dr. David Perlmutter on the Livin' La' Vida Low Carb Show
