4th Gen acura TL - Bluetooth SUCKS

My bluetooth is really inconsistent with my phone. It can take 15 minutes sometimes to connect to my phone, sometimes it connects immediately. Sometimes it stays connected, sometimes it drops and reconnects a lot. Anyone know why this is or if there's a fix? it's a consistent problem across different phones I've tried. I'd upgrade to a TLX but I like driving the TL better.

I've had 3 phones with this car and I haven't really had any major Bluetooth problems. Are you sure it's not your phone?

The only bug I had that with one phone having wifi on in the car would drop from the car connection.

I've tried maybe 5 different phones, both windows phones and android phones, my current phones are a Nexus 5x and a Pixel 2, both flagship phones from google.

So you turned off wifi to get your bluetooth to work?

I've had a problem with one of my phones where the Bluetooth would randomly disconnect in the middle of a call. I'm not sure why. It never disconnects when playing audio. Only during a call. Then it reconnects about 10 seconds later. I've never had a problem with the initial connection however. Takes about 5-10 seconds once I turn the Bluetooth on on the phone. It's sporadic. Sometimes it never disconnects with a 30 minute call. Other times it disconnects every 20 seconds or so. Weird.

I'm currently using a Pixel 2 XL without any problems, but I do know that Android 8 was having Bluetooth issues that Android 9 solved. If you're running Android 9, I think it might be your car.
