4G Tech Package Speaker Replacement

Hello,
I have a recently acquired 4G TL with the tech package. So far I've been very impressed with the ELS sound system in the car. However my rear driver side door speaker has started crackling pretty bad and it's starting to get a little unpleasant.

If I go ahead and replace that speaker, should I look for a genuine ELS speaker, or would I be better off replacing with a different brand? I'm completely happy with how it sounds with the stock speakers however I wouldn't be opposed to an upgrade if I'm replacing it anyways.

Thanks in advance

I would just replace it with another OEM speaker. It's matched to the rest of the speakers. You didn't say what year your car is, but here's an OEM rear door speaker for a 2012 Tech for $49.

If you choose to replace the speaker, I wouldn't just replace that one, I'd replace the passenger side one also, so at least those two are the same..

OEM is what I was leaning towards doing. Thanks for the link, I have an 09, should be the same part but I'll double check on the site regardless
