Thought I'd share my experience with fellow Canucks. I wanted to buy a map update for my Acura TL. The official Acura Canada site took me to a link where I could purchase the red DVD for CAD 179 + about $30 for shipping to Toronto.

I decided to give them a call and ask for the $99 offers. They said this offer is not valid for US customers. However, they offered me the DVD for $149 + about $25 shipping.

Long story short, you could save about $30 for the DVD if you buy over the phone.

 

Meant to write "This offer is NOT valid for Canadian customers".

At $149, it's still overpriced, but as my 2009 is due for a refresh, and there are no other options, this just may be worthwhile.

 

thanks for the link will order the new mapping update right away. Does anyone know if there is a bluetooth update at all?

 

I don't think there is a Bluetooth update with the Navi CD. Aside from Map data, the Navi CD also has a gracenote update.
