On a '12 should the chosen wallpaper be visible when the nav system first starts?

 

Nope once you start up the car that warning screen comes up first, only ways of getting the nav wallpaper to show are either to select within the settings or not hitting okay on the warning screen and it will come up by itself after a little bit.
