I just purchased a 2012 Acura TL, Elite Package. (I picked it up today, and already put 200kms on it haha) I plan on adding a remote start. Has anyone here have the Compustar Drone Mobile remote start on their 2012 TL Tech/Elite?

 

I was considering the Viper Smart Start, but after reading this thread, I'm kind of scared to get the Viper:

I've installed myself the Acura's stock remte start. It works fine.

 

Hi Alex, the stock remote start requires you to shut down the car, and restart it before driving away, does it not?

 

So I've talked to my my installer (T & T Honda in Calgary), and they said the Compustar Drone Mobile will work, and it will not require a restart of the car. I am still very hesitant, as the Acura Factory remote, and the Viper Smart Start, both requires the car to be restarted. T & T honda guaranteed it will work, and offers a full refund if Drone Mobile behaves the save as the other 2. So i'll keep this thread updated, and keep this Acurazine community informed.... There may be a compatible phone remote start for your touch button start yet!

 

i've installed Compustar RF-P2W901-SS, i need to restart my car before i go... anyone sure the DRONE doesn't need to restar my car before i go?
I really want to slove this...

 

I'd like to know this as well. Restarting doesn't sound appealing.

 

I have the drone and I need to restart.

 

I'd like to know if there are any where a restart isn't required.
