I recntly purchased a 2009 TL with text package I would like to have a hard hitting bass and was wondering what you guys might recommend as a direct replacement or a separate amp and sub and the specifications for each in order to stick with everything else the same. Thanks guys I appreciate it

 

You can really buy any sub/amp combo and just get the audio signal from the existing subwoofer using an LOC.

Click this thread for details of my setup. It's far from the best but hits MUCH harder than the factory system and I kept everything else OEM.

I think a lot of people have, I just tapped the line that was going to the factory sub, very easy and you retain control with the head unit
