What is in the tech package??

Looking for a used tl wondering what that package includes

The big advantages are the "infotainment" system (nav, onscreen stuff) and the stereo. The stereo is WAY better in the tech version. And although I don't use the nav frequently, it's nice to have when you need to get your bearings or when Google Maps freaks out.

Get the Tech Package. It has a rear camera too which is necessary for parking because our car is so big....

Which also gives it the rear spoiler which houses the camera. Even if I had a base, I'd add the spoiler. I wasn't a fan of the 3rd gen spoiler. I took mine off. But the 4G looks much better with it IMO.

i like the TL-S spoiler on my 3G better than the other oem one.

I didn't know the TL-S had a different spoiler than the base. I googled it and yeah, more subtle but classier IMO. It looks like they sort of fashioned the 4G spoiler after the TL-S as far as being lower key.

Push button start, comes with the Tech Package, as well. You can keep your keys in your pocket, at all times, as long as your battery's good to go!

I'm not too sure if the base has this feature, but with my car, if I press the unlock button, on the key fob, twice, and hold it, it will roll down the windows and open the sunroof.

I would SWAG the base models have the remote roll down feature. Why? Because my base 2006 6MT has that feature.

^^Yeah, I wasn't too sure about the windows, and sunroof, going down, using the key fob, and how it related to the package, or lack thereof, you have. I have a feeling that you're right, though!

Anyway, "SWAG" means?

So, back in 2009 I took a contract with a company which had me reporting to a V-E-R-Y religious woman from the south; if someone said something as nasty as, "Oh sugar!" she would get offended. During 2009 and 2010 she and I worked very closely on a technological upgrade for a core product of their company and her management structure, all based in London, was asking for estimates for both time and cost. In several of the documents I prepared for her presentation I used the acronym "SWAG", assuming everybody in the world knew what it meant.

Two days before she was flying over to London to present our proposal she asked me, "So, when I give this presentation I need to know what SWAG means."

I quickly reddened in the face and said, "Uhhh, Sophisticated Wild Ass Guess". She was not amused.
