At what speed can you manually shift into 5th?

Hi guys - I have a 2010 TL SH-AWD and have had the TC "upgrade". Prior to the upgrade I could shift into 5th at lower speeds (around 30 mph I believe). After the upgrade the software won't allow me to select 5th until 40 or 41 mph. I'm sure that the desire to have the car run at higher RPM is related to a desire to diminish the driveline vibration that so many people have been complaining about.

For those of you with the automative transmission and original TC software (not the upgraded software), at what speeds does your car shift gear to gear? If it's too much of a pain in the neck to cite every gear, at what speed can you get into 5th manually? At what speed does the car automatically shift into 5th?

I think the delay in selecting higher gears in the pursuit of reduced vibration is the cause of the serious drop in MPG that so many people are experiencing. I'm nutty about tracking my car's mpg because it can often be a good warning sign for various service needs. Unfortunately I didn't have my car for more than a couple of days before the upgrade was performed, so I don't have the benefit of the baseline prior to the upgrade. In the short time I drove the car though, my mileage was at least 3mpg higher than after the service was performed, and I'm trying to do some forensics.

Thanks in advance!
David

Actually, I found the shift points in the manual and even after the mod, my transmission shifts at about those points. Perhaps instead Acura changed when the TC fully locks up? Thoughts? Anyone? Bueller?
