What is the most UNUSED feature on your TL
I'm curious. I don't have the tech package so I don't have a lot of features. Haven't had the car long but I see that I don't use paddle shifters at all. At least not yet anyway.

Can 3rd gens play too???
I dont use my nav, i dont use the HFL, I dont use the voice commands.....I'll think of some more. Basically I dont use a lot of the so called features.....the buttons on my steering wheel column...the voice buttons get in my way when making an evasive maneuver

I don't think there's a feature I don't use at all, but the least used would be heated seats.
It doesn't get too cold in socal, I only use it on days where it dips below 40 degrees (only a handful of days a year). By the time it warms up, it's uncomfortably warm because I'd already have the heater on.
Bring the dam ventilated seats acura!!

I've never used the HD CD import thing on the 4g. It only imports as 128kbps which sounds horrible... I just use thumb drives and my iphone with bluetooth streams (which sounds surprisingly good).

I never use the Harddrive or CD-player. I use USB and XM only.
Generally I would agree that it gets better MPG, however, cruise control can be a little over zealous when it comes to hilly areas. I find that I can get better MPG if I more or less stick with a throttle position and let the car slow down going up a hill and speed up on the way down. With cruise control, it uses too much gas trying to maintain speed going up a hill. Just my

Now that talking on the cell is illegal in MD and DC, I use HFL all the time (where is the mic anyways?). Also, my girlfriend has used the heated seats quite a few times.
However, the CD changer has never been touched.

The HDD has been great for ripping kids songs for my daughter, and for the occasional spa type music I like to play for relaxation. One of my favorite features IMHO.
Voice commands is one feature I hardly ever use. Sometimes I feel it's faster if I push the buttons myself.

Tape deck? I wasn't aware the TL came w/a tape deck.

Gotcha! I didn't know he was referring to the 3G TLs.
+1. Voice would work pretty well if I see a red light and say "Green light please" and the light turns green for me continue without stopping

Agreed, I never use the paddle shifters. They are pretty useless, except maybe in the winter for downshfting.

You are correct. I got it confused with our MDX which has a tape deck that has never been used.

hmm interesting, i never knew that. is that the same when you are riding on mountaneous terrain? because the car will keep high revving to maintain speed, rather than slowly regaining speed. jw? i never knew cruise is what got the best mpg

hard drive here 2
would use DVD-A more as it sounds great - just limited selection to say the least

Probably should have done this a while ago but I never went out and bought DVD-Audio disks to burn music onto so that I could listen to it in the ELS surround sound. Just use regular CD's. I did listen to the DVD-Audio sampling disc we get with the car and there is a big difference with the surround sound compare to regular. I just have been to cheap and lazy to go and get them.

yea i guess if u switch to step in an auto, it will hold 5th gear, so i guess ur right that would lead to having the best gas mileage
#39
I use cruise all the time when possible for best MPG's.
The least used, paddle shifters and bluetooth. I tried to hook up the bluetooth without success, maybe I'll get around to figuring it out one of these days.
