Warning & Plea for Help: BEWARE GLITTER!

My sister decided to wear glitter makeup today on her eyes.

As I was wiping down the seats later than night, I noticed my passenger side seats were ... glittering...

I also noticed that this glitter managed to get into the small preforated holes of the leather.

Now, I'm pissed cause one of my seats looks like fiery land and I'm a very OCD when it comes to keeping my ride clean.

Does anyone have any suggestion on how to get the glitter out of the holes? These are big ass glitters that you throw at parties, they are very tiny ones that is used for make up.

I'm upset, I'm going to try and use a lint roller on it tonight. If not, I'm going to try and vacuum it out tommorow. If that doesn't work...

I'm seriously going to be annoyed the rest of the time I own this TL.

Leather cleaner always works for me, then I recondition it.

Strippers love body glitter.

I spilled a protein drink on my seat and wiped it up immediately. After it dried however I had the same issue with it in the holes of the seat. I just used a small push pin and used the sharp end poke the small holes. It did the trick.

.. If it was a stripper, I might be more forgiving!

Anyhow, I bought a portable vacuum and charging it tonight, but I don't think it will work.

The problem is, the glitter is lodged into the holes of the seat. If you look at the seats of th TL, they are not smooth, they have holes in them. I believe it's perforated leather seats...

Anyway, I'm about to give up on my quest to remove these things.. maybe I'll have more luck with a detailer?

You need a very strong vacuum. Try one of those at the car wash where you put money into. Another alternative is find a friend or neighbor who has a shop vac. You will need a brush attachment to brush and vacuum them out at the same time.

A push pin will greatly help in getting them out. use a nice leather brush with some cleaner and see if it helps AFTER using the push pin.
