TL SH-AWD and Snow

Hey guys ive had my car Tl for about a month and well the past month it has been snowing like crazy in New york. In the past storms my car hasn't gotten stuck anywhere and i park on the street. Ive had a front wheel and rear wheel drive car and let me tell you none of those could have done as well as this TL with its awd system did it. If anyone is even wondering if the sh-awd is good in the snow they should erase that question from their mind. Simply put the system is amazing there is no drama what so ever you just point and shoot. Of course be reasonable and don't try taking turns at like 90 mph .......slow down to 80. haha

I agree. I passed by motorists who were stuck in ditches with ease on my way to Texas from Kentucky. (they had help so no worries)

The only vehicle better than my SH was my Ridgeline. If I lifted my TL and put M/S tires there wouldn't be a difference

I am also impressed with how SH-AWD worked in the blizzard here.

I experimented a little bit with the relationship between VSA and SH-AWD and, again, I am very surprised how well it is integrated.

The SH-AWD should be awesome in the snow-the best there is.

The 4G SH-AWD is great in snow, especially with dedicated snow tires. But let's get real here, you're not going to defy the laws of physics no matter how sophisticated the technology. In real deep snow and on hard, ice-packed pavement, you still have to be real careful.

Ahh yea I agree very much. But it's nice when you gave people in like Civics or Mustangs having one hell of a time going up a slightly icey hill as you just zoom on by with ease, such a nice feeling!

It might be that the biggest challenge driving on ice is to remember that just because you can go faster does not mean you will be able to STOP faster.

Yeah AWD is bad in the sense that it'll probably make you drive faster. While us base TLers will be taking it slow and easy, and therefore better able to stop the vehicle.
