Sweet, I will have to get the issue. Even though I use Royal Purple oil, if I had to pick an oil off the shelves, I would definitely pick Pennzoil Platinum or Pennzoil Ultra for the Acura TL!

A side note about Penzoil Ultra, it's supposedly already going to be rated under the next generation of SAE classifications. The SAE will begin regulating that oil has even more stringent demands made on it, to keep your engine internals ultra clean and allowing for even longer service intervals. I'm a Royal Purple user as well, but this has me wanting to take a second look at the stuff...

^^Yup, GF-5 oils with SN rating are supposed to keep the engine very clean. Like Pennzoil calls it "factory clean"

I am a Royal Purple whore. I have Royal Purple in the motor, transmission, diff and transfer case. I am also running the Royal Purple 10-2808 oil filter as well. For my loyalty they sent me caps, coffee mugs, oil change stickers and a jacket.

I like how they photoshopped the speedometer so it reads 60 at the top. Why'd they bother? ...or do base TLs have a speedo with lower indicated top speed? That seems a silly added expense to have two different speedometers to deal with on the TL production line, given some obvious cost cutting moves they made with this car...
