My favorite TL was hit today!
The back car hit a middle car, which was pushed to my back. The trunk wouldn't open and there are some scratches of paint on the bumper. Although looking from a distance, one could hardly tell anything, I could see some deformity of the trunk lid. How serious could this be? the framework should be fine, correct? can they repair damage like this to a satisfactory state?

I am sorry to hear about your misfortune! I am glad to see you weren't hurt but its a shame your TL didn't fare so well. Its hard to say without any pics but by the description you gave, I suspect that the damage would be repairable to a state that you will be happy with. I also doubt that the frame as damaged/bent.....Keep us posted and if you get a chance, snap some pics for us to better assess the situation. There are some guys here that know their body work...Nexxon is one of them.

 

well one of two things.. either they bent your frame. the area where the trunk latch is or your trunk is slightly bent...

if your lucky its your trunk otherwise its a frame.

I don't think I was hit hard, I hardly felt anything but heard a big bang.... the trunk lid can be opened this morning..... I don't know why.... but the gap between the lid and the body is widened....I will post some pictures later. do you think it's easily fixable?

 

It's very difficult to gauge the extent of the damage based on a description, post pictures.
