Takeda SRI Sound Clip!

This is for those who are in limbo of installing a Takeda air intake.... Keep in mind this is on the 3.5L FWD '09 TL. Installed the intake this week and it was so worth it.

Before the Install:


After the Install... you can really hear the difference:


And this is what it sounds like inside the car. It is pretty cool hearing the vtech kick in:


Took me 2 hrs to install and I've never worked on a car in my life! So worth it...

Yes, but it's not as bad as the mosquito kit the kiddies put on their Honda Civics.

I hear that.. they make me crazy.. like the Harley guys running straight pipes and HAVE to wind it up as they go around the corner... They are other ways go get noticed!

But mosquito kits are $20, and removing baffles from the pipes is pretty much free. Speaking as someone who owns one - it wasn't worth the coin, at least by itself.

taking off intake resonator gives same noise for free.....
