How does one replace the tail lights on the 4G TL's? I know that for the 3G TL's you would have to remove the entire rear bumper. Is this the case with the 4G?

 

No, the taillight units themselves can be removed. Inside the trunk you will have to pull back the felt lining and then there are 3 (I believe that's right) long screws that need to be twisted off and removed. Once that is done, the taillight units slide out.
