Hey all….has anyone actually used this product, and if so, what were the results?
Is this a good idea to use? Any help or advice would be appreciated
My TL now has 130,000 miles on it, and wanted to get the carbon build up cleaned as best as possible.
The J37 engine uses a Port Multi-Point Fuel Injection PGM-FI, which means that when the injector is injected, gasoline is sprayed onto the intake valves, therefore the valves are always clean and do not need to be cleaned.

Carbon buildup is not a concern for our engines since they are port injected. You should always use a good fuel cleaner every oil change (put cleaner in gas tank). I use redline SI-1 and it works very well at keeping fuel injectors clean and fuel system clean.

From personal experience, I used Prestone AS730 Fuel Injector Cleaner 6 times and the only thing that helped me was removal and ultrasonic cleaning on the stand.

thank you for the reply, and the recommendation of Redline.
I will go that route at my next oil change.
